The Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success. We raised just a little over $1,000 for Ian and Alexia. Also, the talent show was a SMASH!!! All of the acts were awesome and everything went very smoothly. We had a surprise visit from Freddie and his friends as well as a hilarious performance from the Pillow People. The teachers THRILLED us with their version of the thriller dance too. Thank you to all of those that helped organize and work the show. It was an absolute blast!

Soles 4 Souls
The Quest Council has partnered with an organization called Soles 4 Souls for their global service project this year. This organization takes gently used/worn shoes and distributes them to those in need. We are focusing our collection efforts on the earthquake victims of Haiti. We started our shoe drive at the beginning of February and already have over 900 pairs of shoes! We will be running the drive through the rest of February and into the first week of March so keep sending all of your old shoes.
A local community member, Keith Moran has very generously donated the boxes as well as the shipping expense for us to accomplish this task so I want to make sure that I say a very big THANK YOU to him.

Very busy
The council has been very busy since their return from Christmas break! For Valentine's day we sold Valograms and delivered them to students in their classes. This was a very fun project and the student really loved working the booth during lunch. They were a little shy delivering but they had a good time seeing all of the student's reactions to their messages. We also had another raffle drawing. Students made Valentine cards for Ian and Alexia and donated $1 for a ticket. We had about $20 donated but many more Valentine cards!!! We also started our global service project this month and are working very hard on it. February has been a very busy month and we will continue to stay busy in the months to come. We are planning and Easter egg hunt fundraiser for Ian and Alexia and will then begin working on the annual talent show. What a great group of students we have working on the council this year!
